As a member of the Antique Caterpillar
Machinery Owners Club, HCEA, and the local Lewis Clark Antique Power Club, John
takes pride in each seat, knowing that all of the cushions are manufactured from
the highest quality materials. He begins with ¾" ACX varnished plywood
or full 1" thick lumber for the original FRAMED
LOOK and
high-density foam. T-nuts are installed where needed. A 5/8" tack strip is
installed on the backrest and some arm rests. He uses HD 44 oz. Colonial (orange
peal look) -40 cold crack black vinyl. He also uses Army duck green on
military restorations, or whatever the customer requests.
From experience,
John has found there are many variables and does his best to ship a product that
will fit your particular tractor. John is continually upgrading the patterns and
workmanship to manufacture a product that will enhance your restoration, and he
will work with you to correct any irregularity. John also produces LEATHER
PRODUCTS: crank straps, throttle-governor boots, break spring boots, equalizer
spring boots, and shift tower boots. He also manufactures the METAL SEAT STRAPS
for the seat tank models.
